Dutch artist Berndnaut Smilde makes real clouds form inside of empty rooms! He uses a fog machine and carefully adjusts the temperature and humidity to produce clouds just long enough to photograph.

¿WE REALLY TAKE CARE OF THE ENVIRONMENT IN CENTRO COLOMBO AMERICANO?

CHECK THIS!!!

+ In the Colombo we have diferents containers to classify the garbage.

- but some students don't use it adequately.

- In the colombo we don´t turn off the lamps when nobary is using this.

+ there are some plans in the institution

                                    

        
+ there are many information in the library about the environment and care this.

- If the colombo disconnected the electrical appliances could save more energy.

Memory game!!!

1. We have to divide the group en two subgroups.

2. I’m going to give a text about the environment. Each subgroup has to choose a writer and the rest of group has to read the Tex and dictate to the writer. The text is located outside the classroom and each student has one opportunity for read and memorizes some word or phrases of text, and then goes to the writer and dictates this sentences.

3. The text should be written well, whit the punctuation and capitals letters.

4. The winner group is who complete the text correctly and less time.

5. each student has to answer the next  questions: 

• what do you think about the artist that works whit recycling materials?

• when you buy in a supermarker, do you think in help the environment?

• what is your opinion about the Manizales landfill?

• what do you think about the rubbish collecting in Manizales???

• some people think that the artist show the artworks because their purpose are awareness people. 

• all of the people thinks that the people never thinks in buy recycling things in a supermarker.

• most of the people think that the Manizales landfill has good conditions.

• all of the people thinks that Manizales is one of the cleanest cities in the country.

RUBBISH COLLECTING

The purpose of the artists consist to make their works through materials and thematics of environment for raise awareness and changes of  habits about use of  wastes. In this way the question is:

¿IS it POSIBLE GIVE RISE TO COMMUNITY ABOUT THE WASTES CONTROL THROUGH THE ART?

General community are unaware about the importance to separate the garbages and the health effects in people garbage collector and environment.

To separate the garbages can bring many economic benefits for the community by means of new markets take advantage of waste; also the responsable use of differents products and their recycling helping to reduce the volume of waste produced.

OUR CITY

The Manizales sanitary landfill is hard and dangerous, this receive 400 garbage tonnes for day, from which are recycling 120. the recycling job is difficult and riskier; when in our hauses we don't recycle forces to recyclers to scrabble between decomposed materials.

although the sanitary landfill can remain for 10 years more,  under these conditions; worth starting to make responsable use of this.

In this suvey five students of Centro Colombo Americano participated.

1. The results of the survey show that all of the people think the recycling art helps people to be aware of the world.
2. fortulately most of the people would like to buy a recycling piece of art and the rest think that the recycling art isn't art.
3. all of the people think to create you can use all materials.
4. most of the people think the recycling art helps to change the conscience of the human through art.
5. one person thinks the recycling art helps the artist because the materials are cheaper.
6. some people recycling things to creat something but most of the dislike them.

who consider the possibility to find  art in objects recycled?

to know about this we are going to do some questions:
